Palworld 1.0 is out, with its own new pals to defeat and capture, areas to explore, and the promise of major changes to the EA version of the game – so much so that there is a recommendation to start the base game afresh. You can also, finally, enter The World Tree, which is a huge area with secrets to discover. You can now meet the final boss there and defeat them to earn another achievement.
If you’ve just entered the World Tree, the boss arena may be locked. You’ll need to defeat a list of other bosses before you can enter Zenara and Astralym’s arena.
How to Find Zenara and Astralym in Palworld

Zenara and Astralym are the newest final bosses in the World Tree area. After entering the World Tree, head west to find the secret boss arena. You can’t enter it yet, but you can listen to the recorder beside the door to find out why.
You need to defeat three mini-bosses marked on the World Tree map first before you step foot here. All the bosses you need to find are detailed below.
| Boss | Level | Location | Coordinates |
| Silvance | 78 | Shinespore Root | -1933, 1155 |
| Grizzbolt, Shaolong, and Lyleen | – | Forbidden Laboratory | -1995, 1625 |
| Dandilord | 78 | Rotmist Root | -1675, 1633 |
After defeating each one, you will get a unique item that will help you remove the seal to the boss arena. Head back to the boss location and unlock the seal, then head inside and go up the stairs. You will come face to face with the large double doors, but alas, you require something here to unlock it.
How to Unlock the Door to Zenara & Astralym Boss Arena

To unlock the door leading to the Zenara and Astralym boss arena, you need to collect Key Spheres. There are 8 of them to find, and each Key Sphere drops from all the Tower Bosses scattered across the world map. If you were like me and have played the game during early access, then you would have already collected 7 of the Key Spheres earlier.
Otherwise, check the main map to find marked towers and head over to each one and defeat the bosses inside. In the 1.0 update, you get one new Tower Boss to clear: Auri and Shaolong. Each boss comes with varying difficulty, and if you are anywhere over level 70, it’s quite easy to take them all down. Once done, pick up the Key Spheres from each fight and return to unlock the doors.
Zenara and Astralym Boss Fight Preparation
I recommend starting this fight once you and your Pals are level 80 and beyond. If the boss fight is too hard for you, you can always change the difficulty setting to make it easier. I would also recommend placing a Palbox inside the boss arena and spawning several Paladius, Dupins, Sekhmets, or Silvances.
You can also make a mixed army, since we don’t know what Pal type Astralym is. I won’t recommend sending all your Pals to battle, and to keep some back in your Palbox until the time is right. For weapons, I went with the Drone Launcher and Plasma Rifle.
Make sure you have accessories that will increase your attack stats and a heavy-duty shield. Besides that, my party included a level 80 Frostalion, Lovander, Necromus, Shaolong, and Foxcicle. But you can pick any of your strongest level 80+ Pals for the fight. Just make sure you have a healer and a flight Pal in your team.
How to Fight Zenara and Astralym

When the fight starts, command all your Pals to stand down while you start the attacks first to distract the boss. After that, set your Pals on the boss and use any Ice attack to freeze the boss temporarily.
If you have a Lovander in your team, you can use their Heart Drain skill to heal while attacking. While hitting the boss, aim for the neck area, as this is the weakest and deals max damage.
Astralym will send out several homing projectiles that will target you and your Pals. They will also deal with several different AoE attacks within the surrounding area. If you have a good shield active, then it shouldn’t deal a lot of damage.

Eventually, you will get a notification that the boss is drawing energy and to attack its wings. Get on any flying Pal to gain some vantage, then shoot the orbs on each leg of the boss to stop the attack.
While Astralym is inside its defensive orb, use this time to swap out any dead Pals in the Palbox. Also, continue to heal yourself and your Pals too. During the second phase, keep a tab on the health of your Pals and keep switching out Pals when they are dying or dead.

Somewhere towards the end of the fight, Astralym will send out a wheel that will shoot a beam over a selected area. You can run around the wheel to avoid it, but if your Pals are caught in the path, then they will be dealt damage.
Continue healing them, then keep up with the fight, as the rest of Astralym’s attack patterns remain the same. Rinse and repeat to defeat the boss and clear the arena. After that, you will get the Dark Skill Fruit: Psycho Gravity and Zenara’s Hat as your rewards.
