While Destiny 2 remains a beloved FPS shooter, the game itself is not only about killing aliens and challenging other players. Every mission in the game is filled with lore, storyline, and impactful NPCs that are mentioned by Destiny lovers all the time.
One such NPC is Geppetto, who Destiny 2 veterans often mention, but very rarely do players get to know the full story behind this character. So, here’s everything you need to know about Geppetto in Destiny 2.
Geppetto In Destiny 2
Geppetto is the Ghost of Saint-14, who can be found during the Season of Dawn quest in Destiny 2. Like most ghosts in the game, Geppetto also appears as a sapient machine with a purple glow in the middle. However, her appearance is only shown in the quest icon of the game, while the in-game model shows her as a default Ghost model.
She is named after the carpenter who created Pinocchio and carved the wooden boy to life. Correlating to the name, Geppetto resurrects Saint-14 and brings him back to life in Destiny 2.
Deep diving into the events centered on Geppetto reveals that she, too, has cheated death on one occasion. When Geppetto was killed in the Infinite Forest by none other than the Vex itself, it was The Guardian that saved her and Saint-14 using The Sundial to travel back in time.

Who Is Saint-14 In Destiny 2?
Known to the Destiny world as the former Titan Vanguard, Saint-14 is an Exo Titan and the slayer of Solkis, the Kell of the House of Devils. Like his ghost, Geppetto, Saint-14 also met his demise at the hand of the Vex in the Infinite Forest before being aided by The Guardian to be resurrected.
After the events of Season of Dawn, Saint-14 can be found as the main contact for the Trials of Osiris mission in Destiny 2.
