Augusta is a very strong 5-star Electro DPS unit in Wuthering Waves, and the good part is that she has quite a few options in terms of team compositions. Unlike Phrolova’s best team composition, she does not rely on high-tier 5-star units to perform optimally.
The only requirement for Augusta is that every character in the team is well invested to the point where they can trigger their Intro and Outro Skill quickly. Augusta needs time on the field to deal damage, and she is strong enough to sustain herself. As such, any character that can quickly make space for Augusta will function best with her.
Augusta Premium Team In Wuthering Waves
Augusta’s Premium team in Wuthering Waves consists of Mortefi and Shorekeeper, as both of them synergize very well with the character. In this team, Mortefi can function as a sub-DPS, while Shorekeeper is the primary support. The characters and their roles have been discussed in the following table.

In this team, Shorekeeper is the primary support and healer, as she not only keeps the entire party healthy, but she also provides Crit Rate and Crit DMG buffs for the entire team. She does not benefit from Augusta’s Outro Skill, but you don’t have to worry about that too much. Make sure Shorekeeper’s ultimate recharges quickly, and she can quickly switch to Mortefi.
Mortefi is an interesting addition here as he is a 4-star unit, but is extremely powerful in this team. He can deal coordinated damage and increase the Heavy ATK DMG of a Resonator by 38 percent with his Outro Skill. This ability is invaluable for Augusta as her entire role revolves around dealing damage through Heavy Attacks.
The final step in this team is to switch onto Augusta, who will jump onto the field, perform her rotations, and deal high damage. Make sure to use the best build for Augusta using her signature weapon and best Echoes so that her damage output is optimal.
Augusta General Team In Wuthering Waves
Augusta’s General team in Wuthering Waves consists of Phrlova and Shorekeeper. In this team, Phrolova isn’t the most optimal, but it’s a dual DPS setup that increases the overall output of the team quite significantly. The characters and the roles they play have been listed in the following table.

Phrolova is the powerful DPS who can deal high off-field damage while also with her Ultimate, and can also buff the Heavy Attack of the next character with her Outro Skill. The Heavy Attack damage buff helps Augusta massively, though the Havoc Damage buff from Phrolova doesn’t help the former at all.
Shorekeeper performs a similar role to the Premium Team, where she can buff the Crit Rate and Crit DMG of all characters and heal them as well. However, you have to ensure both Phrolova and Augusta are able to use their ultimate abilities and other skills as quickly as possible. This is because, you don’t want Shorekeeper’s ultimate to run out by the time you complete a full rotation for the team.
Augusta F2P Team In Wuthering Waves
Augusta’s F2P Team in Wuthering Waves consists of Mortefi and Verina. You might be surprised, but Mortefi is indeed an F2P character, and being available in this team means Augusta doesn’t lose out on too much damage. The character and their roles in the F2P are presented in the following table.

Mortefi will deal coordinated damage and buff the Heavy Attack of Augusta massively in this team, similar to the Premium team. However, the difference here is that instead of Shorekeeper, you have Verina. Now, Verina will heal the party and also enhance their damage output. However, she doesn’t provide any Crit Rate or Crit DMG buffs.
Unlike most F2P teams, you don’t miss out on too much damage with this team. Irrespective of whether you have duplicate copies of Mortefi or not, the 38 percent Heavy Attack Damage buff from the Outro Skill doesn’t change. This won’t always remain the same as eventually Augusta will receive 5-star units that will change the dynamics of the Premium Team, but for now, this F2P team is arguably one of the strongest in Wuthering Waves.
