Asus has announced the ROG Ally, a new portable handheld gaming device that is expected to rival the Steam Deck. Ally features the AMD Ryzen Z1 series processor and is considered to be more potent than the Deck. Worldwide launch and pricing details for the Ally will be revealed on May 11, 2023 on Asus’ social media platforms. The reminder for the launch has been added to their official website.
On April 1, Asus had launched a promotional video for ROG Ally on their social media handles. While gamers initially considered it to be an April fool’s joke, it soon became clear that the Ally is real.
