Leakers have recently uncovered an unpublished teaser for Dead by Daylight Chapter 28, titled End Transmission, which will release on June 13. The video features a new character walking through a nightmarish jungle, surrounded by aliens.
Dead by Daylight is currently on Chapter 27, which features the killer Skull Merchant and two new survivors, Thalita and Renato Lyra. Leakers claim the newly leaked video to be the official trailer for the upcoming chapter, which seems likely, judging from its graphics and quality.

Additionally, the year 8 roadmap for Dead by Daylight has also been discovered by leakers. According to the roadmap, Dead by Daylight’s chapter 28 will introduce the players to two new characters, a new killer called the Singularity and a new survivor called Gabriel Soma. Both of these will be original characters, indicating that players will have to wait two more months before the next licensed character is released in the game. The roadmap for year eight of Dead by Daylight also suggests five new chapters releasing over the course of June 2023 to March 2024, excluding End Transmission.

Dead by Daylight developers have also just released a new official trailer introducing Nicolas Cage as one of the upcoming characters in the game, teasing that gamers will be able to find out more about him on July 5. Leakers are predicting that Nicolas Cage would be featured as a survivor in Chapter 29 of the game, releasing in July 2023. This goes in line with the information provided in the roadmap.
Dead by Daylight has a long history of licensed characters, including Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington from popular Netflix series Stranger Things, Ash J. Williams from Ash Vs Evil Dead, and Jill Valentine from Resident Evil. It would be interesting to see if Nicolas Cage makes an appearance as himself or as one of his characters in the upcoming Dead by Daylight chapter.
