Out of all three endings in Lords Of The Fallen, the Radiance ending requires you to find and cleanse a total of five different beacons scattered throughout Mournstead to stop Adyr’s evil plans in the game. While the cleansing part is fairly easy, getting to these beacons and locating them in Lords Of The Fallen’s vast map can be quite an ordeal if you do not know where to look.
If you’re on the hunt for these five beacons and need some helping hand guiding you in the right direction, fret not, we’ve got you covered. Here’s how you can locate and cleanse all the beacons in Lords of the Fallen.

How To Cleanse Beacons In Lords Of The Fallen?

To cleanse each of the five beacons in Lords of the Fallen, you will have to go up to the spot where the beacon resides and interact. A new menu will pop up where you will have the option to select “Cleanse the beacon.” After you have successfully cleansed the beacon, your action will trigger a cutscene and shoot out the red beacon light marking your progress.
Keep in mind, with each beacon cleansed, you will be unable to get the other Umbral, and Inferno endings of the game. So, I would suggest, keeping the cleansing for later when you are dead set on getting the Radiance ending in Lords of the Fallen.
Most beacons will have certain bosses guarding them, and you will only get to them once these bosses are defeated. You can also plant vestige seedlings to teleport to the beacons with ease.
All Lords Of The Fallen Beacons Locations

The five beacons in Lords of the Fallen are located in:
Beacon | Area | Boss to be Defeated | Exact Location |
Beacon 1 | Forsaken Fen | The Hushed Saint | From the Vestige of the Pale Butcher, stick to the left side till you find a cave and climb up. Then left from two big fires and down the ladder. Cross the swamp using your Umbral lamp and then defeat the Hushed Saint to spot the beacon inside the hollow tree in the middle. |
Beacon 2 | Upper Calrath | – | The Vestige of Upper Calrath is close to the beacon and can be used as a teleporter. After you have teleported, take the path straight into the courtyard and find the door from where enemies are spawning. Take the door and find the hidden passage to its left which leads some stairs to the beacon. |
Beacon 3 | Fief of the Chill Curse | The Hollow Crow | This beacon is near the Vestige of Loash in Fief of the Chill Curse. Once you reach the vestige, head to the Hollow Crow boss. Defeat it, and cross the castle to get the tower containing your beacon. |
Beacon 4 | Tower of Penance | Tancred, Master of Castigations | Several doors in Pilgrim’s Perch and Tower of Penance require the pilgrim’s key which can be bought from Skyrest. To get to the beacon, head all the way down to the tunnels of the tower and face Tancred, Master of Castigations. Defeating him will earn you a key which you can use on the elevator and ride it twice to reach the top where the beacon resides. |
Beacon 5 | The Empyrean | Judge Cleric | First, you need the Empyrean Church key hidden inside a chest near the Vestige of Lorelo. Then unlock the Empyrean gate and head straight to the Judge Cleric boss to get to this beacon. |
Once you have cleansed all the beacons, you can successfully reach the Radiance ending by defeating Adyr, the final boss standing in your way.
You can delay cleansing beacons as much as you like, but you will need to cleanse them before reaching Bramis Castle. Otherwise, you will be unable to get your Radiance ending and will be stuck with the Inferno ending.
