Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced features over 30 swords; some are hidden, others are behind the DLC menu, but most of them can be found by raw exploration of the game. The swords also have rarity, which impacts their damage rating, perks, and takedown numbers. Here we are going to look at all the swords available in the new Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Swords Tier List

Not all swords are the same, even if they share the same rarity; some are going to outclass the others. Here is my tier list for all the cutlasses, blades, rapiers, and pistol-swords in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.
| Tier | Swords |
| S-Tier | The Fortune Persian Scimitars Order of Gold Blades of Toledo Dual Cleavers Matched Golden Swords Masterwork Blades |
| A-Tier | Lightserver’s Blades Dragon’s Fang Swords Blades of the Damned Serpent’s Fang Cutlasses Altair’s Swords Ezio’s Swords Naoe’s Shadowblade Blackbeard’s Crimson Swords |
| B-Tier | Ferraro’s Rapiers Pirate Scimitars Standard Pistol Swords Espada Ancha Scottish Broadswords |
| C-Tier | British Cutlasses French Dress Swords German Rapiers Privateer’s Cutlasses |
Persian Scimitars are the best free Legendary Weapon in the game, allowing you to perform takedowns on Brutes without getting a headbutt. Aside from Persian Scimitars, we have The Fortune, Order of Gold, Blades of Toledo, Dual Cleavers among other swords in the S-Tier, for their unique perks and balanced damage stats.
In the A-Tier, we have the paid weapon DLCs, and the perks here are good, but they are not for free; you must fork out an additional 10 dollars to get these weapons activated in your game. Black Flag features no other way to unlock these special legendary DLC weapons. While the perks here are better than almost all weapons in the game, in our eyes these automatically receive a one tier penalty on account of being paid.
Lastly, the B-tier comprises mid-level weapons; they are Rare and will be able to help you with many combat encounters in mid to late game. All the weapons in the B-tier don’t have any perks attached to them; we have ranked them basis damage and takedown numbers.
And lastly, C-Tier focuses on the starter weapon; you will get these weapons at the very start of the game, but they become useless quickly. C-Tier weapons don’t have any perks, just as B-tiers; here you are also going by the numbers and takedown stats to pick the best one out of them.
