Halloween: The Game features three separate endings, but thankfully, unlike other games, you don’t need to trigger any particular dialogue choices or events to trigger any of the endings. All three endings have their own cutscene with Michael narrating the escape, and these endings get unlocked depending on the direction you choose to escape at a specific point in the main story.
Since direction plays a key role, it can get confusing to pick the proper route; oftentimes, you will unlock the same ending by accidentally heading down the same route. Here, I will detail all three endings in Halloween: The Game and the best way to trigger them so you will not miss any of it.
All Endings in Halloween: The Game
| Endings | Trigger Location | Trigger Point |
| Sewer Ending (Chapter 5) | Available on the North side of the map. | Pry open the Sewer Entrance to escape. |
| Railroad Ending (Chapter 5) | Available on the West side of the map. | Head to the Train Tracks before the train arrives. |
| Cornfield Ending (Chapter 5) | Available on the East side of the map. | Enter the cornfield rows. |
All endings take place in Chapter five; the action in this chapter will become the ultimate determining factor on the type of ending you trigger by the end. What stays common in all three endings is Michael Myers escaping the scene. The only thing that is left to the player is the particular route of escape, whether escaping via sewer, railroad, or cornfield.
Any challenges, actions, or any sort of collectible findings from the Prologue to Chapter five will not have any effect on the ending.
Sewer Ending

Most players will trigger this ending, as the game does put you on this route. Just head north of the map, and you will get the info about escaping via the sewer tunnel. After heading north, move west, then turn north again to come across the route. You will not be alone here; there will be plenty of officers on your path. It’s best to stay out of sight of them.
Continue moving forward until you come across a fenced-off wall with police officers standing outside it. Head left, and you will find the sewer entrance to kick-start the sewer ending.
Railroad Ending

To trigger this ending, we must move west of the map to get out of the sight of Dr. Loomis. Then move northwest, and you will get the objective “Escape from Tracks” with a timer stating “Train Arrives in: 00:59″. The timer here indicates the train arrival time. You must beat the timer to get to the tracks. Arriving late will result in failure, jeopardizing the ending. Once in the spot, head to the red lights, and the railroad ending will trigger the cutscene of Michael crossing the train tracks, with the train arriving at the spot in seconds.
Cornfield Ending

Cornfield Ending takes you to the east side of the map; keep moving to the right, and you will get the notification of escaping the fields. Don’t turn back; keep moving forward and reach the cornfield rows. Just entering the field will trigger the ending, with Michael disappearing into the cornfield like Homer Simpson into the bushes.
Lastly, I’d like to note that a slightly longer cutscene plays out after the ending cutscene. The longer cutscene can happen at the end of any of the three endings mentioned above. Some players did get the longer finale cutscene after the railroad ending, and some saw it after triggering the Cornfield or Sewer ending route. The longer cutscene is mostly comprised of Michael further narrating the story with the town in the background in a blurry filter.
