Nothing in Phantom Blade Zero can be unlocked or revealed easily; the game hides most of its stuff in plain sight, making it harder for the player to obtain these special rarity items. A locked door at Weeping Creek Valley or Village of Lu follows the same solution of exploring to find it. On your journey into the Village of Lu, you will find many interesting things; one of them is the locked cellar door near the Smuggler’s Treasure Cellar bell. No matter how many times you hit the door, you won’t be able to break it.
Here, you will need the Village of Lu Cellar key to unlock the door to the cellar and grab all the sweet loot from inside. In this guide, I will help you find the Village of Lu Cellar key in Phantom Blade Zero.
The Village of Lu Cellar Key Location
You will find the Village of Lu Cellar Key from a trapped thief inside a locked cell. First, we need to get our hands on a Tunnel Cage key to open the cell to talk to the trapped thief, so we can finally get the Village of Lu Cellar Key.
During the main story quest “Heartless Remnants“, you will come across the cave or dungeon as seen on the map. Once inside the dungeon, you will soon notice red threads covering the ceiling. You will also come across a point in the area blocked by red threads, as marked in the image above.
Just follow the thread hanging on the ceiling, and it will take you directly to the enemy in the cave. Now, just take out all the enemies in the area to release the thread. A cutscene will trigger, showing the red threads finally vanishing from the dungeon, freeing the area that was locked before. Don’t move out yet; first loot the key on the table, next to the chair. This is the “Tunnel Cage Key“, which we will need to unlock the door to the trapped thief.
After getting the key, loot everything else in the area before moving out. There is plenty of interesting stuff lying around here, such as the Blackstone Shard.
Now make your way to the unlocked route that was earlier covered with red threads. Head inside and turn right, and you will find a locked door to a cell, just as shown in the image above. Here, interact with the cell’s door to use the Tunnel Cage Key. Now, head inside the cell and talk to the trapped thief to get the Village Cellar Key. That’s it; now we have the cellar key in possession. The next step is to make our way to the locked door.
Now travel from the Smuggler’s Tunnel Entrance bell to the Smuggler’s Treasure Cellar bell. Near the bell, you will find a ladder reaching to the bottom floor; drop down, and soon you will come across a locked door. Here, use the Village of Lu Cellar key to open it and loot all the treasure inside.
