When you come across the Mirage Estate in Phantom Blade Zero, the route is not as simple as it seems; you will be sent on a separate adventure to find a specific item to finally open the route to the estate. Suffice to say, the entire route here is complex and requires various key items and challenging boss encounters. Only after completing all the hurdles will you find yourself inside the Mirage Estate.
In this guide, I will guide you through all the steps you must follow to get into the Mirage Estate in Phantom Blade Zero. This requires completion of a whole new quest, which features plenty of loot, exploration of new areas, key items, and boss encounters.
Entering the Mirage Estate in Phantom Blade Zero

You need to have Serpent Tongue, Serpent Fang, and Serpent Eye to open the special door in the Green Serpent House in Pangzhen to get into Mirage Estate. This requires completion of the Four Serpent House questline in Phantom Blade Zero. Before we carry out all the tasks for the Mirage Estate, we first need to activate the related quest, the “Four Serpent Houses.“
Travel to the Green Serpent House bell in Pangzhen, head to the Green Serpent building right next to the bell, and inside you will find a door with an unusual snake on its exterior. When you interact with the snake, the game will activate the quest “The Four Serpent Houses”
Major Requirement

One of the major requirements to progress in The Four Serpent Houses is an item called Dormant Flaming Mane. This specific item releases fire strong enough to break the thorns blocking the path. Since all four houses we are about to visit are blocked by the thorns, it’s extremely necessary for you to have the item before going out on an exploration.
Progress in the Heart’s Trail quest (Story Quest) until you obtain the “Heavy Lion Hall Gate Key“. With the key in hand, head over to the Lion Dance Hall Gate and use the key to open the locked doors. It will lead you to a boss fight, where you will get the Dormant Flaming Mane as a reward. The only problem here is that the Dormant Flaming Mane is broken; we need to fix it to make it work.
Follow the story quest further to get the Dormant Flaming Mane fixed. Once it’s fixed, we are ready to go!
Red Serpent Tongue | Crimson Forest

Head to Red Serpent House in Crimson Forest, near the bell; you will find a route covered with thorns; use the Dormant Flaming Mane to burn the thorns to open the doorway.
Now make your way inside the house, and you will find the key item “Red Serpent Tongue.” Along with another important item, the Loong Emblem (Yin). Pick up the Loong Emblem (Yin); it acts as one part of the key that unlocks a special place later in the quest.
Black Serpent Fang | Village of Lu

Now travel to the Black Serpent House bell in the Village of Lu. Just right next to the bell, head up the stairs and burn down the thorns blocking the path. Once the path is cleared, head inside the house a short distance; you will immediately find the Black Serpent Fang on the desk.
Just like the last house, here you will also find the Loong Emblem (Yang) sitting on the box on the left of the house. Now, both the Loong Emblem (Yin) and Loong Emblem (Yang) will combine with each other to form a single Loong Emblem key. This key is required for the last part of the quest.
White Serpent Eye | Meigu Lake

The last part, White Serpent Eye, is located on a specific island found a bit northeast of Meigu Lake. Unlike the last two, this one requires the Loong Emblem key. First, make your way to the Pavilion of Knowledge Crossroads bell in Pangzhen, and then head up the stairs and turn left to encounter the thorns blocking the path; use the Dormant Flaming Mane to burn them down. After going too deep into the area, you will arrive at the Docks with plenty of boats parked in the area. You can take the boat to explore all the islands in Meigu Lake.
Note: I recommend taking the boat to explore everything this area has to offer. You will find plenty of good loot on the islands, so take your time and explore them all.
The White Serpent House is located on a specific island in the area; get to the marked area on the map above. Once you are in the spot, find the docks to park the boat and get off. Explore the entire area, then head up to the main house on the island. Take your time to prepare for a fight; you will soon encounter a boss fight.
Defeat the enemy in the house and then use the Loong Emblem key (Yin and Yang) to open the door in the house. On the other side, you will find yourself in an open area with a boss encounter: Heartpiercer, Elite Shadow Warden. After you defeat him, you will get the final item for the serpent, “White Serpent Eye.“
Now with all three items, head into the Green Serpent Bell house to insert all three snake parts to get into Mirage Estate in Phantom Blade Zero. Since we are on the topic of finding it difficult to get to places, do take a look at the guide to get into Crimson Manor in Phantom Blade Zero.
