The popular romantic comedy Hori-san to Miyamura-kun, aka Horimiya, premiered with 13 episodes at the beginning of 2021. Adapted from Hiroki Adachi’s (aka HERO) web manga of the same manga, the 2021 TV adaptation excluded many moments to fit it within the 13 episodes. Now, three years later, Horimiya: The Missing Pieces will be released, covering the unadapted parts of the manga. Although not much information is available on the plot, the anime series will continue with the canon love story of high school students Kyouko Hori and Izumi Miyamura.
Note: Horimiya: The Missing Pieces is not the second season of Horimiya (2021).

The second part of the fantasy shoujo anime Sugar Apple Fairy Tale will continue with 15-year-old Ann Halford’s aspirations as she longs to see humans and fairies coexisting together. As seen in Part 1, Ann also wishes to be a confectioner, or Silver Sugar Master, just like her mother. Along the way, she hired the warrior fairy Challe Fen Challe to be her bodyguard as they journey together to reach the kingdom. The last episode of Part 1 saw Anne winning the Royal Medal and Challe exchanging his freedom for Anne’s dreams to become Bridget’s servant. Distraught, Anne cries and requests Challe to come back. Part 2 will likewise pick up from here as it would show the heartbroken Anne coming to terms with Challe’s betrayal. On the other hand, the shoujo anime might even show Challe’s perspective and whether or not he will return to Anne and reciprocate her feelings.

The third season of this shoujo anime will also introduce another character named Mini Yaemori.
