Eiichiro Oda has been pulling all the stops in his magnum opus as One Piece slowly draws near its finale. As such, all the plot points slowly teased or hinted at throughout the manga’s long run are finally having their payoff. One Piece chapter 1083 is one such instalment in the franchise, where an important aspect of the world-building, that fans had been clamoring to see for so long, had been finally hinted at.
Fans of Sabo and the Revolutionary Army will be in love with this chapter, although the ones keener to follow the main storyline and the whereabouts of the Straw Hats might be a little disappointed. It takes place mostly in the form of a flashback and offers exposition into the events of the past.

In the opening scene of One Piece chapter 1083, Sabo tells Monkey D. Dragon and Emporio Ivankov everything that transpired at the Reverie, which viewers witness in a flashback. As a result of what happened to the Kingdom of Lulusia, the spoilers go on to say that eight kingdoms reject the World Government and its tax demands. The Holy Knights, who are reported to number nine in total, are sent by the World Government to deal with them as a result.
Then, according to rumored spoilers for One Piece chapter 1083, Sabo, Karasu, Morley, and Lindbergh are engaged in combat with Admirals Fujitora and Ryokugyu. While Morley succeeds in stabbing Ryokugyu, viewers witness Karasu shooting at Fujitora. The actual conflict of the endgame, hinting at a bigger war than Marineford has now begun, the Dragon continues, thanks to the Holy Knights’ deeds.

Then, according to alleged spoilers for One Piece chapter 1083, Dragon claims that they have already begun the battle by attacking supply ships bound for Mariejois. The image of King Nefertari Cobra’s corpse lying next to Sabo is then shown in a newspaper. Sabo’s involvement in the matter is obviously hinted at in a part of the government’s conspiracy to kill two birds with one stone.
In a flashback, viewers see Cobra leaving for a meeting with the Gorosei (during the Reverie). He requests Pell and Chaka to take care of his daughter Vivi before leaving, Pell and Chaka being the two Guardian Spirit ambassadors of the Kingdom of Alabasta. At the end of the chapter, while Karasu and Morley are engaged in combat with Fujitora and Ryokugyu, Vivi is also reportedly present.

According to rumours regarding One Piece chapter 1083 spoilers, one of the nine Holy Knights “has a sword and looks like Shanks,” even having “the same sword and the same robe.” The concept of the Holy Knights and Celestial Dragons introduces the entire concept of the Crusades, implying (as we already knew) that the past of One Piece occurred in our world while the setting of the country of the pirates and the world government is a post-apocalyptic one.
Additionally, it is purportedly known that Karasu’s Devil Fruit is the Logia-type Susu Susu no Mi, popularly known as the Soot Soot Fruit. It is also claimed that one of the Holy Knights is wearing a cowboy hat and another has horns. The link between the Holy Knight and Shanks might be an elaborate ruse on Oda’s side to trick us, or maybe there is a disclosure that no one ever thought of!
