Aniimo’s Binding Oath is a side quest that falls under The Legend of the Mist and Light quest section. It is a short and straightforward quest that can be easily discovered when doing the Ancient Sacred Fragrance quest in the game. While the quest itself is not that demanding, it still does ask you to fetch important items for an NPC called Ron; which can get a bit confusing.

How to Complete Binding Oath in Aniimo
The Binding Oath quest in Aniimo takes the player to three separate places to collect vines so you can give them to the NPC. But before you do that, you have to first discover the quest in the Mistwoods. This becomes easier when you are already tracking the Sacred Ancient Fragrance quest.
Here’s what the entire quest looks like:
Defeat the Tucking when looking for the Super Truffle in the Mistwoods in the Sacred Ancient Fragrance questline.
Once defeated, you will notice a new hole appear in the ground, which leads to Twisted Roots, and here you will find an NPC named Ron.
Talk to the NPC, and he will explain everything about the Century Old Promise and how the three main vines inside the area are growing weaker every day.
After that, the quest will give you three locations where you can get the new vine cores and then hand them to Ron.
All 3 Vine Locations For Binding Oath Quest in Aniimo
Vine Location #1: The first one is located in the eastern ruins section of the map. For this one, you may have to do a little climbing till you get inside the ruins, and then acquire the vine. Twining with a Celestis can do a lot of heavy lifting for this one.
Vine Location #2: The second one can be found in the western swamps, which is the easiest one to get out of all. Twine as a Flameruff to burn the nearby vines and climb to the top to acquire the vine core. You would probably be keeping a Flameruff around as it is required to evolve a Scorchhowl and Inferlupa.
Vine Location #3: The last one is located in the northern cave. For this one too, Flameruff came in handy for me to burn down vines. The vine core is located in the deep end of the cave. Head over there to pick it up.
Once all the vine cores are collected, go back to Ron and give them to him. The quest marker will be updated so you can see his location in Mistwood.
After heading there and talking to Ron, the quest marker will update once more, asking you to find Selens. He can be found after going through the Sanctum Challenge area. When you arrive at the marker, you can find Selens and Ron together. Interact with them to finish the quest.

Wrapping up Binding Oath feels pretty satisfying. You get a solid mix of currencies, materials, and one unique story item that actually ties into the whole “eternal promise” theme.
