When you are facing the toughest bosses in the game, the weapon quality will be a determining factor in whether you get an easy win or a difficult journey. Not all swords are alike, as many come with different perks and elemental benefits that will always put you one step ahead of any monstrosity Beast of Reincarnation has around the corner.
Here in this guide, we will list all the swords available in the game, and then we will dive further into their stats, effect details, and location.
Beast of Reincarnation Sword Tier-List

| Tiers | Swords |
| S – Tier | * Thunderwave Sword * Purity * Sunrise Sword * Cirrus Sword * Shark Cutter |
| A – Tier | * Hunter’s Sword * Fall Thunder * Spring Storm * Winterwake * Black Blossom * Camellia |
| B – Tier | * Mechblade (Standard) * Mechblade (Light) * Hazebringer * First Moon * Kanzashi * Silverlight |
| C – Tier | * Purifier * Big Dipper * Resonance Sword |
The S-tier is the goldmine for the best weapons found in the game; each one of them has something that is valuable to Emma and makes the combat a lot easier. We have Purity that allows for life stealing; it’s the only weapon in the game that comes with the ability to life steal. So you will be less reliant on healing items and slash your way to success. Thunderwave is another perfect weapon that deals AOE elemental lightning damage to enemies in a wider area. If lightning is not your cup of tea, then set eye for the Sunrise, as it deals fire damage that leaves Burn status on bosses. Most bosses are vulnerable to fire; the same goes for enemies, so you will have an easier time handling it throughout the game.
Cirrus Sword might look basic; it is a Chapter 1 weapon, but the effect Clear Skies is what makes the weapon an S-tier weapon. Clear Skies adds attack power to both Koo and Emma for 15 seconds. Extremely valuable when you are at the beginning of the game compared to all the other weapons you will get early on.
A-Tier is mostly made of elemental-focused weapons with few exceptions. Most of them are based on lightning damage-dealing, while others are built around poison status effects. Camellia, Black Blossom, Winterwake, Fall Thunder, and more are built around lightning damage; Black Blossom is a unique one, as it offers lightning-poison elemental damage, two at once. A-Tier serves as a ladder to the S-Tier; while we are not getting the ultimate version, here we have the next best thing to S-Tier weapons, in terms of damage dealing and various perks that add variety to the gameplay.
Now we move down to the B-Tier weapons; they are perfect for a mid-level journey in the game, as they don’t offer anything superior, but they do provide a decent stat boost, such as damage increase, weakening enemies, and more. They are better than commonly available swords; the boost to the basic stat does improve the gameplay a bit. If I were to pick the best among them, I would go for Hazebringer for its Acid buildup, which happens to be the only elemental damage-dealing weapon on the B-Tier list.
And lastly, we head down the C-Tier; there are only three weapons here, and they are decent with good stats but useless when it comes to affecting the gameplay in any meaningful way. I will recommend leaving the weapons here unless you are looking for something specific; for example, we have Big Dripper that makes enemies yield more Amber drops, perfect for grinding the currency. Other than that, I would highly recommend going up to the B-Tier weapons and then navigating your way to the A, then S-Tier.
I would say the game is heavily biased towards lightning damage weapons, so you have plenty of variety if you just want to do and commit to a lightning-focused build. You have the option to pick up any B-tier weapon for the lightning build and work your way to the A- and S-Tier lightning-damage-dealing weapon to fully complete the build against lightning-vulnerable bosses.
