The overall early combat in Beast of Reincarnation is fair, as enemy hits don’t take too much damage, and all of your attacks do deal decent damage. But if you are running the game on Hard difficulty, then relying on the common set and moves will not be enough, and even common enemies, especially if they mob you, will be a challenge. Luckily, the game features a good number of moves, weapons, and armor to combine together to create the best early setup in Beast of Reincarnation.
What’s Special About This Early Build?

Starting out, the options for good damage-dealing moves are limited, since you are stuck with basic swords. This build will make use of specific skills in a sequence to inflict a good amount of damage early on against enemies. This build is about setting enemies on fire to boost attack power for Emma, then unleashing the Helm Splitter on enemies.
Helm Splitter is one of the best skills in the entire game, as it deals massive damage and can be pulled in mid-air, which puts you in a safe place. Another aspect of the build lies in Koo, as its fire attack will bring in the extra Vigor we need to make our attack power strong against bosses and common fodder. This combination should be enough to get you through most of the early game, and later, you can switch to Lightning Thunder Build to carry you through most of the game.

Recommended Weapon and Armor

- Weapon: Pick Mechblade Standard or Light– both are excellent choices for the starting area, where options for finding good weapons are very limited. These are not the best swords in Beast of Reincarnation, but work with these till you get your hands on better equipment.
- Armor: Chain Mail: The most important part about picking up the Chain Mail, or any armor for the early build, is the Spirit Slot count. Chain Mail comes with 4 Spirit Stone slots, so we can fill it to make the build better:
- For Spirit Stone Slots, I recommend Onslaught and Fortifications. Onslaught will add Vigor (increases attack power), and Fortification will add the buff Fortify (Defensive Buff and also Boosts HP) on Emma at the start of the combat encounter.
Tip: Add more spirit stones of the same name to get the boost. Adding a simple Onslaught will give you Vigor +1, but adding two more will give you Vigor +3 at the start of the battle. The level Onslaught spirit stone will also influence the count.
Recommended Skill Points

Focus on the main, go down on the Hair skills in the middle. Here we will focus on – Sprout Shakuyaku and Helm Splitter.
- Sprout Shakuyaku – Spawn a flower from the ground that you can use to leap into the air. You can extend Emma’s hair to jump over the enemies.
- Helm Splitter: When you are in the air, you can drive your sword into the ground, causing 100 damage to the area. The attack area will increase with more upgrades.
The game plan here is to use Emma’s Hair, by using Sprout Shakuyaku and then ending it with a Helm Splitter. Helm Splitter does a great amount of damage, especially early on and on harder difficulty. Besides dealing damage, Sprout Shakuyaku can help you go in the air for a few seconds, avoiding most enemy attacks and AOE damage.
For Koo, I will recommend getting the Incantation upgrade, which helps Koo add 10% additional status effect buildup to all of its skills. For attributes, early on, try adding points to Koo’s Fluorescence rather than Strength and Vitality, for the status buildup.
Recommended Koo’s Skills

- Higanbana: Seeds Lv.1 (End of the Line)
- Higanbana: Bloom Lv.1 (Reverence)
- Higanbana: Roots Lv.1 (Perennial Bloom)
Higanbana: Seeds Lv.1 (End of the Line) will help Koo to deal Fire damage to enemies; adding the mod End of the Line will add Vigor +3 to Emma every time the enemy gets a burning status. So we are getting Vigor +3 from Onslaught and another +3 from using the End of the Line mod on Seeds, totalling the overall count to 6.
Note: The type of enemy will also affect the burning status. Nature- or tree-type enemies will burn faster than stone-type enemies.
Starting out, we have 3 Vigor at the start of the combat. Now pull out Seeds for Koo, and we will have 6. Now use the Sprout Shakuyaku to get up on the flower, and then Helm Breaker on the enemy’s head. After Helm Breaker, you can add other special attacks and then repeat the same process to clear the floor.
