Rotating Beams Puzzle in Destiny 2’s Aionian Campus is a difficult puzzle that demands your timing and attention. You need to successfully navigate through a group of rotating laser beams by observing their pattern and utilizing a special device at the correct time. So, here is a guide for completing the mystery in the first try.
Step-by-Step Guide
Location
To complete the mystery, you have to visit the front of the Aionian Campus, which is located left of Central Academy and upright of Caldera. Below is the picture for the location of the Aionian Campus.
Opening the Gate
Now you will see a gate in front of you after going some steps, as shown in the image below.
Get over there and interact with the Terminal beside the gate. Upon interacting with the terminal, it will show ‘Terminal Destabilized‘
To solve this, look on the left side, you will see a Rosetta Frequency device as shown in the picture below. Destroy it and then interact with the terminal again.
Now the door will open, and instead of ‘Terminal Destabilized‘, it will now show ‘Input Aionian Command’. Then the door will open.
Heading Upwards
Things got a little interesting now as upon following the path, you will encounter a platform as mention in the picture below.
You will have to go up the platform using your boost, and then you will see a vent location. Destroy the gate, and then the Matterspark Portal will be right in front of you.
From here, navigate through this tunnel, which is located on the opposite side of where you found the Matterspark Portal, and then you will arrive at the scene, where you have to solve the mysteries.
Locating the Rotating Beam and Emitters
Now, once you are inside the place, head over, and there you will see 4 laser rotating beams. Do not touch this beam, as it’s already aligned.
Now, look over to the left side, and there you will see another beam. Shoot it 1 time to align it straight as shown here.
Now, head over and you will find the 3rd beam. You will have to shoot it 3 times with a gun to align it.
Once aligned, move on to the last beam and shoot it 2 times until it looks like this.
Further Heading Out
Now head down, and there you will see a room containing a Relocator.
Pick it up and shoot the 1st Laser Beam as shown here.
It will cause a chain reaction, which will make the portal activate inside this room.
Then head over to this room and shoot the portal inside with the Relocator
Now, head down here and go towards it, and you will be teleported to the room where you just shot.
Now, in this room, there will be another Relocator device which you will use to fire onto the Laser Beam just in front of you. You have to fire on it 3 times.
Collecting the Item
Upon doing that, another chain reaction will take place, and another portal will appear in front of you. Head over there again and now will see a Collectible Item.
Disabling Laser Grid
Now disable the Laser Grid from the machine, and you are good to go for your upcoming missions.
