Ubisoft has just dropped the Official Story Trailer of the highly awaited Star Wars Outlaws. The game is scheduled to release on August 30, 2024, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. This will be the first time for a Star Wars title to be released in an open-world setting.
The game is available for pre-order with an exclusive Kessel Runner Bonus Pack. Players with Gold or Ultimate edition may get up to three days early access to the game.

The story timeline of the upcoming game fills in the events taking place between Star Wars: Emire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. The trailer reveals the intentions of the antagonist, Sliro who hires a skilled bounty hunter, Vail to track down Kay. The events lead Kay towards getting a chance to get her freedom by making a deal with Jaylen, a criminal mastermind.
In addition to the glimpse of the story, new planets, and locations were unfolded in the 2:45 minutes long trailer.
The YouTube comment section of the just-released trailer reveals a mix of excitement and lukewarm reactions from the players. Numerous fans have voiced disappointment over the dialogue and animation quality of this legendary game title.
While mixed reactions continue to stem from the trailer, the full verdict can only be made after the game marks its official release.
