Sacred Reservoir has become one of the best farming spots for some of the special items in PoE2 that can garner triple-digit Divines off the market. The main trouble comes down to tracking down the Sacred Reservoir map, as you must carry out some minor tasks to unlock the map node in the Atlas. Here we will provide you with all the details about the Sacred Reservoir, including the bug details about the map node in Path of Exile 2.

Where to find the Sacred Reservoir?

From the starting area, head north on the Atlas map. Now follow the wall to its right; you will find the Sacred Reservoir map node covered with an unusual sandstorm. Here comes our first challenge: removing the sandstorm.

The Sacred Reservoir map node will have a Temporal Sandstorm covering its area. The only way to remove the Temporal Sandstorm is by interacting with three Temporal Tethers, found inside the map around the Sacred Reservoir map node. I’ve marked the location of both the Sacred Reservoir and its nodes around it; all you have to do is enter all three maps marked in yellow circles, clear, and break the Temporal Tethers. There are a few well-known bugs attached to this part of the quest, but more on that later.

One Temporal Tether is found in the Fortress (Desert Biome) map, left of the Sacred Reservoir. The second one is inside Steaming Springs (Grass Biome), at the top of the Sacred Reservoir, and the last one is inside Grimhaven (Grass Biome), located right of the reservoir map node.

You must do it thrice, in all three map nodes, to remove or dispel the sandstorm from Sacred Reservoir and open the map to explore. You will need a Waystone of Tier 6 or higher to get inside the Sacred Reservoir.

Bug Alert and Fixes:

Just like the bugs in the Doryani’s Science questline preventing you from getting to the Immured Fury, Sacred Reservoir has also become synonymous with many bugs and glitches.

• When you are doing the Jado’s Spycraft quest inside the Sacred Reservoir, if you manage to get disconnected or leave the area, then you will have trouble joining back in. Here, press Ctrl + Left Click on Sacred Reservoir’s zone entrance point to create a brand new instance.
  • Also to be noted, you can ask for help in the Global Chat to create an instance for you if solo tweaking fails to create an instance.
• If you are getting some crashes during the boss fight inside the Sacred Reservoir, then head up to the Options menu and turn off Engine Multithreading under the Graphics settings. Another solution is to clear the Atlas Master Passive Points.
• If the Temporal Sandstorm still stays on around the Sacred Reservoir, then you will need to head to Breach Biome with Breachstone (Visiting Breach Monastery) in your inventory.

First, this special map is linked to the Jado’s Spycraft questline and the boss Zahmir, the Blade Sovereign, who is known to drop lineage support skill gems such as Graukhan’s Resolve. That is one of the drops; the boss might also drop Zarokh’s Refrain/ Khatal’s Rejuvenation/ Varashta’s Blessing. Among all of them, Graukhan’s Resolve is the most sought-after, as having one and trading it can easily help you obtain upwards of 100 Divine Orbs in the market.
