Remnant 2 has a host of new weapons compared to the previous title, along with unique weapon mods to play around with. Aphelion in Remnant 2 is a new weapon that can unleash the forces of a dying star upon your enemies. It looks just as menacing as it sounds and packs a lot of punch.
Let’s take a look at how you can obtain all the materials required to craft this powerful weapon and incorporate it into your own build.
How To Craft The Aphelion Long Gun
Aphelion in Remnant 2 can be crafted with the help of an NPC named Ava McCabe. However, Void Cinder is one of the materials required and it can be a bit tricky to get your hands on. More on that, later.
Aphelion is a Long Gun-type weapon that is most effective at medium to long range. It deals high damage and has a wide arc projectile useful to damage multiple enemies. It is known to harness the power of a dying star within it, so you can only imagine how powerful it can be.
Listed below are all the items required to craft the Aphelion Long Gun weapon:
- 650x Scrap
- 7x Lumenite Crystal
- 1x Void Cinder
From these items above, Scrap and Lumenite Crystals are common items you will find while playing the game regularly. Scrap is the main currency of the game, while Lumenite Crystals can be found in drops after killing Aberrations or Elite Enemies.
How to get Void Cinder in Remnant 2
To craft the Aphelion in Remnant 2, the most difficult item to get is the Void Cinder. This can only be obtained after defeating the Sha’Hala Spectral Guardian final boss in N’Erud. For this, you will need to get the Override Pin. It is located in Timeless Horizon inside an unnamed tower. This tower will have an elevator that will lead to a statue resembling the ones with seeker keys. Crafting the Aphelion requires a deep understanding of alchemical arts, similar to the knowledge needed to unlock the elusive Alchemist Archetype in the game.
Once you obtain the Override Pass from this location, head to N’erud. Before you fight the Spectral guardian, you will have to interact with a console that will present you with two choices. Select the latter choice that requires you to use the Override Pass which will lead you into a boss fight with Sha’Hala. Defeat the boss and you will now have obtained the Void Cinder.
After you have the Void Cinder, you should now be able to craft the Aphelion in Remnant 2 in Ward 13 with the help of Ava McCabe. Make sure you keep upgrading this weapon to make it even more powerful than it already is.
