Last Epoch is gearing up for its 1.0 release and is up for sale in three distinct editions. While the Standard Edition only includes the base game, Deluxe and Ultimate Editions contain various goodies bundled with the title.
What Does Last Epoch Deluxe Edition Include?
The Deluxe Edition of Last Epoch, priced at $49.99, includes:
- Full Digital Game
- Full Original Digital Soundtrack (released at a later date after full launch)
- 50 Epoch Points (can be used in early access)
- Cosmetic Pet: Adolescent Chronowyrm (unlocks at the full launch)
- Cosmetic Armor Set: Fallen Ronin (unlocks at the full launch)
- Cosmetic Portal: Firefly’s Refuge (unlocks at the full launch)
Last Epoch: Ultimate Edition
The Ultimate Edition of Last Epoch, priced at $64.99, includes all the Deluxe Edition items in addition to:
- 50 extra Epoch Points (so you will get 100 Epoch Points in total)
- Cosmetic Pet: Twilight Fox (unlocks at the full launch)
- Cosmetic Pet: Adult Chronowyrm (unlocks at the full launch)
- Cosmetic Armor Set: Temporal Guardian (unlocks at the full launch)
- Cosmetic Portal: Celestial Way (unlocks at the full launch)
Note: If you already own the Standard Edition or base game in early access, you can simply get it upgraded. You can opt for a Deluxe or Ultimate Edition by upgrading it via Steam for $15 or $30 respectively.
Is Last Epoch Ultimate Edition Worth It?
Last Epoch’s Ultimate Edition offers you 50 extra Epoch points and four extra Cosmetic Items than the Deluxe edition. 50 Epoch Points are roughly equivalent to $5 in terms of real money. So, it’s merely a question of your desire to acquire additional cosmetic items by shelling out $10 more.
If you have been playing the game in early access and want to sincerely invest in getting more Epoch points and new cosmetic swag, I say go for the Ultimate Edition. However, if you are unsure or just planning on starting in Last Epoch, I would recommend opting for the Deluxe Edition. You can always buy additional Epoch Points later on in the game.
