There is still no news for the release date of Half-Life 2: Remastered Collection. If the game is currently in testing, we can’t be far off from an official release date reveal.
According to the remaster development team, they are trying to maintain the core of this game while trying to improve the graphics in order to make the masterpiece visually more realistic. There are also several modders working tirelessly on specific episodes of the game, trying to graphically enhance the original game. The most recent one of them is the mod of episode 3 of Half-life 2, renamed as Infinite Finality by the modder.
Released in 2004, Half-Life 2 is considered to be one of the greatest first-person shooter games of all times. It had a massive impact on the gaming industry, and even after nearly two decades, fans of the series are awaiting Half-Life 3. Valve Corporation released Half-Life: Alyx in 2020, marking the latest official entry in the series as a VR based FPS game. Currently, Valve is working on Counter Strike 2, a new installment for another one of their popular FPS series.
